Logo I designed a year prior to entering the program

Journalism meets the outdoors in this program I was a part of for my senior year at Springfield High. I served as the creative director of our publications, overlooking art direction. Tight deadlines means continuous collaboration, creative problem-solving, and attention to detail from start to finish.
First publication of the year was an issue of The Sentinel: Springfield High's newspaper. This was the first issue in a few years, so we had to nail down a new look.
Next came the second issue of Sonder, a 64-page profile-oriented magazine. In addition to honing down the look we wanted to give it on the inside, I led the effort to promote Sonder on the outside by creating a poster/ad campaign that features our different subjects.

The last publication of the year was issue 4 of Backcountry Review, another 64-page magazine that is outdoor oriented. Our hard work as a team paid off--this issue won an award: 2018 Magazine Pacemaker Winner, recognized by the National Scholastic Press Association.
